Tucked safely inside the ‘New Blood’ gatefold LP will be this 7″ picture disc of ‘Solsbury Hill’.
The sleeve shows a detail from one of Andy Harper’s extremely detailed ‘Grass paintings’, whilst on the vinyl itself are micrographs of local grass and plant seeds shot by Steve G.
Recently finished poster for a local dramatic society production of Arthur Miller’s ‘The Crucible’.
Alas not the official poster, still, its a brilliantly written play, full to the brim with dark imagery, which i just couldn’t help putting pen to paper over..
Last saturday (26th Sept) saw the Invada Invasion at the Colston Hall and in amongst the musical extravaganza there was a small art show tackling a somewhat thorny subject under the title of ‘An alternative portrait of Edward Colston‘. Organised by ‘Friend & Co’, the exhibition contained artwork from Russell Maurice, Andy Council, Mr Jago, Paris, Ben Eine, China Mike, Asbestos, Acerone and Myself (far left on pic – thanks Tom). It was a good night all round and as far as i could make out the punters liked the pieces too…
